1. Refunds, when due, shall be made without requiring a request from the student.

For Active Military Students: any currently enrolled student at an area technical center who is called to, or enlists in, active military service shall not incur academic or financial penalties by performing military service on behalf of our country. Such student shall be permitted the option of either completing the course or courses at a later date without penalty or withdrawing from the course or courses with a full refund of tuition and lab fees paid. No refunds will be issued on application/registration fees, bookstore purchases, entrance exams or insurance. If the student chooses to withdraw, the student's record shall reflect that the withdrawal is due to active military service. The Title IV Fair and Equitable Refund policy applies to all Title IV (Federal Pell Grant) recipients. Detailed information can be found in the Bookkeepers office.
5. Student who have not visited the school facility prior to enrollment will have the opportunity to withdraw without penalty following, either attendance at a regularly scheduled orientation or following a tour of the facilities and inspection of the equipment. As part of state statute, we have a requirement to offer three money-back guarantee programs. Students are required to maintain attendance as per clock hour requirements, to maintain a 90% or higher grade in the class, to work with Career Services to complete a resume, apply for jobs, attend the annual career fair, participate in any and all internship or work study programs, provide 9 weeks of job search documentations, providing documentation of at least 3 quality applications per week, and after exhausting all other avenues returning and developing a revised career plan with our Career Services department.
