Building Maintenance Apprenticeship

The Building Maintenance Apprenticeship Program at Osceola Technical College is offered in partnership with local contractors and industry professionals. This comprehensive program is designed to prepare students for careers in the skilled trades by blending in-depth classroom instruction with hands-on, real-world experience on active job sites. Participants gain practical knowledge in areas such as electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general facility maintenance. By integrating technical education with on-the-job training, the program equips apprentices with the competencies and confidence needed to advance into skilled trade positions within the building maintenance field.

  • The Building Maintenance Apprenticeship program at Osceola Technical College is provided in conjunction with local contractors. This program focuses on the skills needed to advance into a Skilled Trades position by combining classroom and on-the-job training. 

  • The Building Maintenance Apprenticeship is a two year program.

    Apprentices work a paid, full-time job for one of our sponsoring industry partners, while attending classes three hours per night, two nights per week.

    (144 Hours / Year) (OJT = 2000 Hours)
