  • The 2025-2026 Open Door Grant Program is a financial aid program for students at a Florida College Systems institution to incentivize current and future workers to enroll in career and technical education programs that lead to a credential, certificate, or degree.

This opportunity offers students in eligible programs a maximum award amount equal to 100% of tuition, fees, assessment costs, books, and supplies, not otherwise covered by federal/state grants or other third-party payment. This is subject to the availability of funding. Returning students are given priority over new students. Students will be accepted on an ongoing basis while funds are available.
Currently all oTECH programs are eligible for the Open Door Grant.

In accordance with the Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA), as amended, as of October 29, 2011, each post-secondary institution that participates in the Title IV Federal Student Aid programs is required to post a net price calculator on its Web site. The net price calculator uses institutional data to provide estimated net price information to current and prospective students, and their families, based on a student’s individual circumstances. This calculator is intended to provide estimated net price information (defined as the estimated cost of attendance — including tuition and required fees, books and supplies, room and board (meals), and other related expenses — minus estimated grant and scholarship aid) to current and prospective students, and their families, based on what similar students paid in a previous year. Please note that the estimates provided apply to full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduate students only. The estimate provided does not represent a final determination, or actual award of financial assistance, or a final net price; they are only estimates based on the cost of attendance, and financial aid provided to students in the previous year. Cost of attendance and Financial Aid availability change from year to year. The estimates shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education, Osceola Technical College, or the State of Florida.
